"Jingle at the Jukebox" - K-2 Performance a HIT!

Last night, Sibley's K-2 students put on quite a show for parents, families, and friends at the high school auditorium.  There original theme entitled, "Jingle at the Jukebox" left those in attendance smiling and cheering into the night.  The kids worked extremely hard, had fun doing it, and it was well worth the wait.  Thanks for all of those that came and for the kind words to students as well as the teaching staff for pulling it all together.  Its success was truly a team effort and we look forward to future shows.  Tune in to our local access channel in the future as it was also filmed for lasting enjoyment by all in the community.  I'll let a few of the pictures speak for themselves.

Readers Theater - December 7th

Every year and in every elementary school students are treated to Reader's Theater.  What is that you ask? Readers Theater is a dramatic and fun reading of a book or even a play.  It takes the complication and planning out of large scale staging and set design of theater and brings the fun of the read, right to you.  On December 7th, students in 1st grade had a wonderful time as they were read to by volunteers from our community.  Thank you to our readers for making this such a great experience year after year.
